From 4 p.m. today, the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups will hold the 1st Retreat General Assembly in the Daehanmun area of Jung-gu and continue the candlelight march.
The Federation of Korean Trade Unions also held a rally at Yeouido Yeouido at 2 p.m. to denounce the government's anti-labor policy.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., the Democratic Party of Korea plans to hold a "Second National Action Day" rally near Seoul City Hall Station and call for the independent counsel of Kim Gun-hee.
In the meantime, conservative groups, including the Korea Barrow Movement Headquarters, also held a "National Convention to Combat Jusa-pa" in Gwanghwamun area from 1 p.m.
In preparation for traffic congestion, the police operated a variable lane on the other side of the assembly site and deployed more than 220 experienced people to manage the vehicle.
