Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election has raised uncertainty over Ukraine's war, and the EU's chief of foreign affairs has visited Ukraine to reaffirm Europe's unwavering support.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Rousseff Borrell told a joint press conference with Ukraine's foreign minister in Kyiv on the 9th local time that EU support would continue unchanged.

This kind of support is absolutely necessary for Ukraine to continue to defend itself against Russian aggression.

Senior Representative Borrell's visit to Kyiv seems to be related to the observation that the U.S., the largest ally, will turn its route to Ukraine after the presidential election on the 5th.

Trump, who won the presidential election, is skeptical of support for Ukraine and has promised to end the war quickly through negotiations, though he did not say how.
