Sea rocks with a freezing blue sea right in front of them.
Catching fish there, where you can only hear the sound of waves and birds, is a dream for anglers.
[Mr. A / Fisherman of the seashore rock: When a seashore rock hits the bottom, it feels like the fish comes, so a lot of people look for the seashore rock.]
However, apart from their enjoyment, holes are often found throughout the rocks that anglers have visited.
He drilled a hole in the rock, saying he would use several fishing rods, not one.
Since you have to drill hard rocks, you often bring tools such as electric drills.
Waste lead, which they use and throw away to fix their fishing rods to holes, accumulates in fish and crustaceans, reducing their ability to grow or reproduce.
In addition, there is a concern that fish stocks will be depleted as many fishing rods are caught randomly.
In response, the National Park Service has decided to sanction the act of entering or drilling holes with drilling tools to protect nature in national parks.
If you are caught sneaking a hole, you will be fined up to 2 million won.
[Song Hyung-geun / Chairman of the Korea National Park Service: We will continue to strengthen system maintenance and on-site management to establish a mature fishing culture]
It has already been concluded that the damage to the rocks of the seashore is serious in five national parks across the country due to the indiscriminate behavior of fishermen.
The corporation plans to continue the ecological rest system that restricts access to these areas and focus on restoring the ecosystem.
