Jongno Academy analyzed next year's competition rate among five international schools nationwide, including Daewon, Younghoon, Cheongsim, and Busan International, and 8,597 applicants applied, with an average of 17.9 to 1.
All four schools showed the highest competition rate in 16 years since the opening of the school in 2009, and the competition rate was the highest at 23.8 to 1.
As of 2023, the percentage of students who went to foreign high schools and international high schools was 37.2%, 24.7% of autonomous private high schools, and 3.4% of science high schools, accounting for 65.3%.
Middle school grades are absolute evaluations, so the competition rate seems to have increased due to the concentration of students who want to go to special purpose and self-accident by receiving high scores from international students.
