While the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test will be held on the 14th, the number of test takers has increased this year, but the number of SAT supervisors has decreased compared to last year.

According to the Ministry of Education data submitted by Rep. Baek Seung-ah of the Democratic Party of Korea, the number of CSAT supervisors this year was 69,440, down 7,693 from last year.

On the other hand, the number of applicants for this year's College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) increased by 3.6% from last year to 522,670 due to the increase in N students due to the increase in medical schools.

The Ministry of Education explained that the number of supervisors decreased as the number of test-takers, which was reduced due to COVID-19, increased from 24 to 28 per class.

Middle and high school teachers are in charge of the SAT supervisor, but not a few schools are reportedly taking out the SAT supervisor in the order of low-year because there are no teachers who apply for supervisors.

According to an analysis of the state's counterpart lawsuits against the CSAT supervisor over the past five years, five civil lawsuits were filed due to mistakes in typing, and three cases were paid up to 7 million won each by the state and supervisors.
