A group of people who received large fraud loans worth nearly 20 billion won from Saemaul Geumgo through document manipulation and back money were put on trial.

The Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office has arrested nine people, including loan broker A and Saemaul Geumgo loan employee B, and indicted seven people, including appraisers, without detention.

They are accused of stealing a total of KRW 19.3 billion from Saemaul Geumgo 15 times by dividing their roles from September 2020 to July 2022.

Mr. A actually planned the crime at the request of three people to spend the borrowed money, and conspired with the owner of the land used as collateral, the CEO of an appraisal firm who created an appraisal report inflated the appraised value of the land, a false document preparation book, and a borrower who applied for a loan to borrow 19.3 billion won.

In this process, Mr. A asked Mr. B to use the appraisal report in question for the loan process, and it turned out that he gave Mr. B 110 million won in return when this was accepted and the loan was made.
