Chao Wen Luo won first place by playing the Brahms Violin Concerto on the final stage with four players.
Korea's Park Eun-jung came in second, Shim Dong-young came in third, and Japan's Reno Yoshimoto came in fourth.
The Yun Isang International Music Competition was launched in 2003 to honor the world-renowned composer Yun Isang from Tongyeong, and the piano, violin, and cello divisions are held alternately every year.
This year's competition, which competed for the violin category, attracted 140 people from 26 countries.
