The ruling and opposition parties' consultative body to resolve the medical gap will be launched today without the participation of the opposition party.

It is expected to be the nature of each participating group's meeting, but as there are no agenda restrictions, discussions are expected to take place from various angles, including the issue of medical school quotas.

In particular, attention is being paid to whether the shift of the Medical Association to an emergency committee system due to the impeachment of Lim Hyun-taek, chairman of the Medical Association, will be a variable in resolving the parliamentary conflict.

The first meeting will be attended by representatives of the People's Power Han Dong-hoon, Korean Medical Association President Lee Jin-woo, Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, and other ruling party, medical community, and government officials.
