According to the U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase data, the price of each bitcoin was trading at $81,110.99 at 1:25 p.m. ET on the 10th, up 6.22% from 24 hours ago.
Bitcoin's price has continued to be super strong since it exceeded $80,000 for the first time around 7 a.m. on the same day.
Bitcoin surpassed $75,000 on the day of the U.S. presidential election, breaking its all-time high in more than seven months, and rising to $77,000 on the 8th.
In anticipation of former President Trump's "friendly virtual currency" policy, funds seem to continue to flow into bitcoin as well as related exchange-traded funds and ETFs.
