Two additional Moonlight Children's Hospital, a pediatric medical hospital that allows outpatient treatment at night and on holidays, has opened in Gyeonggi Province.

Gyeonggi Province announced that it has newly designated Jichuk Ai Jeil Hospital in Goyang City and Dasan Cheong Aaram Children's Hospital in Namyangju as Moonlight Children's Hospital.

As a result, the number of Moonlight Children's Hospital increased from 17 in the province until last year to 28.

also announced that 12 "vulnerable pediatric night and holiday care institutions" in 8 cities and counties, including Yongin, Ansan, Guri, and Gapyeong, have been operated from this year, increasing the number of medical institutions in the province that treat pediatric patients at night and on holidays to 40.

Although vulnerable children's night and holiday care institutions do not meet the requirements for designation of Moonlight Children's Hospital, they are hospitals that provide minimum extended treatment (6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for 3 days on weekdays, 6 hours a day on holidays), and are designated by the provincial governor with the recommendation of the city and county.
