According to CoinGecko, a virtual asset statistics site, the transaction value of Korea's top five virtual asset exchanges, including Upbit and Bithumb, reached 18.6 trillion won as of 3 p.m. today (11th).
This is nearly double the transaction price of KRW 9.6 trillion a day ago.
A Bithumb official said investment in virtual assets has increased significantly since former U.S. President Trump's presidential election victory, which appears to be due to Trump's pledge to support virtual assets.
