Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon unveiled the blueprint of "mega city" Seoul, which transcends the spatial limits between cities, saying that he will start demonstrating UAM starting from Yeouido next year with the goal of commercialization in 2030.

First of all, the city plans to build major facilities that allow fast charging, equipment repair, and inspection in Yeouido, Suseo, Jamsil, and Gimpo Airport by 2030 for UAM pilot operations.
In addition, about 30 "Bertyports," the concept of UAM stops, will be created throughout Seoul to connect them to public transportation such as buses and subways freely.
The route will be expanded step by step from the demonstration stage next year to the maturity period after 2035.
Once the Seoul-type UAM system is completed, it is expected to be able to travel 25km from Pangyo to Gwanghwamun in about 15 minutes, which takes about an hour by car.
