Trump Border Czar "Focuses on Deportation of Immigrants, Crime and National Security"

Tom Homan, appointed by U.S. President-elect Trump as the tsar for the border, said threats to public safety and national security would be a priority in connection with the largest-ever illegal immigrant deportation operation.

Speaking on Fox News, Homan said they pose the biggest threat to the United States, citing drug cartels and women's trafficking.

He also said that job sites are becoming shelters for forced labor and human trafficking, and that he would also conduct a crackdown on them.

The Washington Post reported that the Biden administration has stopped cracking down on illegal immigrants through raids on workplaces since 2021.

Former President Trump announced that he would appoint Homan as the border tsar, saying he would also oversee the deportation of illegal aliens.

Homan told Fox News earlier that deportation of immigrants would be a humane operation, but a large-scale deportation operation needed by the United States.
