The Korea Communications Commission held a broadcasting award ceremony yesterday (11th) at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul and awarded 15 works selected by the judging committee out of 192 entries produced and broadcasted last year.
The grand prize was selected as EBS's 10-episode series "Documentary K Population vs. Ultra-low Birth Rate," which covered in-depth the issue of low birth rate in Korea.
In his welcoming speech, acting chairman Kim Tae-kyu thanked broadcasters for their passion and hard work, saying that creative and innovative works were created even in a difficult production environment, allowing them to feel the power of K-content.
