The police concluded their investigation into the alleged sexual assault of Choi Dong-seok, an announcer-turned-TV broadcaster, with no charges.

According to A, a netizen who filed a complaint with the police to investigate Choi Dong-seok's alleged sexual assault on Park Ji-yoon, an official of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province's Women and Youth Division sent a "notification of non-compliance" to A on the 11th.

A said through an online community, "The document stated that 'the investigation will be terminated before the case received through the National Newspaper due to insufficient evidence."

In addition, A also disclosed the details of his phone call with a police official. According to him, a police official said, "Park Ji-yoon said, 'If necessary, I will report it to the investigative agency again,' and explained, "I decided not to report it because I don't know the specific damage conditions unless I receive a statement."

Choi Dong-seok and Park Ji-yoon were reported to be disbanded in October last year. The two have been engaged in legal disputes, including proceeding with bilateral lawsuits, and last month, a transcript of their conversation was released through a media outlet, shocking the public.

The released transcript included Choi Dong-seok claiming that Park Ji-yoon is mentally having an affair, and Park Ji-yoon suspicious of Choi Dong-seok's righteous indication. Later, A filed a complaint through the National Newspaper to investigate the alleged "couple sexual assault" mentioned in the transcript.
