◆ Announcer Lee Hyun-woong (hereinafter referred to as Lee Hyun-woong): A daily white book, today we are with Gyeonggi Province. Gyeonggi-do Provincial Government will create the first orchestra for the disabled to foster talent in Korea and officially launch it on the 3rd of next month. I think it will be a good opportunity for disabled performers who dream of becoming professional performers. Let's call conductor Park Sung-ho, who is the first conductor of the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra, to talk. How are you, conductor?
◇Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra Conductor Park Sung-ho (hereinafter referred to as Park Sung-ho): How are you? I'm Park Sung-ho, conductor of the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra.
◆Lee Hyun-woong: Please introduce the characteristics of the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra, which will be established.
◇Park Sung-ho: The Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra is a talent-building orchestra that provides opportunities for more disabled performers by providing master classes and intensive training as well as various performance experiences during the two-year activity period, unlike the way other disabled music organizations operate. In addition, it is currently recruiting provincial supporters as a participatory orchestra where provincial residents can support the activities and growth of disabled performers and enjoy performances together.
◆Lee Hyun-woong: What are the supporters of the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra, how to join the supporters and what are the benefits?
◇Park Sung-ho: Supporters refer to those who donate their talents, musical instruments, and spaces to the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra, and those who support them with their hearts through joining the fan cafe. You can apply for sponsorship, donation of talent, and subscription to fan cafes on the Gyeonggi Arts Center website's "Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra" page. Supporters who support in various forms will be invited to perform at the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra, where they will be active, and will receive discounts on other performances planned by the Gyeonggi Art Center depending on the amount of sponsorship.
◆Lee Hyun-woong: Do you have any thoughts on conducting the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra and any future directions you have in mind?
◇Park Sung-ho: The disabled orchestra is really great. Isn't it a true art in itself that friends who take years to tie their shoelaces learn to play musical instruments and make harmonies together? It is a great honor for me as a musician to be in charge of conducting such an organization. I am confident that this organization will open a new horizon for disabled music by attracting attention at home and abroad in the future. To this end, it is my operating direction and philosophy to build a solid inner room based on my skills that are comparable to those of non-disabled people.
◆Lee Hyun-woong: What are the plans for the members of the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra?
◇Park Sung-ho: Starting with the first orientation on November 13th tomorrow, we plan to hold an ensemble twice a week. In addition, it will be officially established on December 3rd on World Day of the Disabled, and after that, it will communicate with the residents through various performances such as the foundation performance and visiting concert.
◆Lee Hyun-woong: Is there anything you want to say lastly?
◇Park Sung-ho: We ask for your attention and support through supporters for the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra, which took its first step down from Yongdan in Gyeonggi-do. In addition, we hope that the second and third disabled orchestras will be launched in many local governments in Korea in the future, and a world where the disabled and non-disabled people live together without prejudice with the power of music will come. Thank you.
◆ Lee Hyun-woong: Can non-Gyeonggi residents support it?
◇Park Sung-ho: Of course.
◆ Lee Hyun-woong: I see. I see. Let's listen to it up to here. Until now, I was conductor Park Sung-ho of the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra.
