Israel, which has gained momentum from the return of U.S. President-elect Trump, is on a rampage.

It seems to be aiming to hit Iran's nuclear facilities and even occupy the West Bank.

Reporter Kwon Young-hee reports.

Dozens of people have been killed or injured in an Israeli air strike on the northern Lebanese city of Yakub.

It is the northernmost point of Lebanon that Israel has attacked since the start of the Gaza war.

Recently, Israel has been bombing wherever it wants.

We also have an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities in mind.

"Iran's nuclear facilities are more exposed to attack," new Israeli Defense Minister Katz wrote in X. "We have an opportunity to eliminate the existential threat."

Iran's nuclear facilities have so far been considered the last red line.

I no longer hide my greed for the West Bank.

Israel is expanding settlements in the West Bank, which is controlled by the Palestinian Authority.

Now, we go further and openly insist on the occupation of the West Bank.

[Bethalel Smotrich / Israeli Minister of Finance: 2025 will be the year of regaining sovereignty in Judea and Samaria (Bible term of the West Bank) with the help of God.]

Arab countries have all called on Israel to exercise restraint.

At the same time, he called on the international community to support the 'two-state solution' and to stop supplying Israeli weapons.

[Mohamed bin Salman / Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia: I urge the international community to fulfill its responsibility to preserve peace and security by immediately stopping Israeli attacks on Palestinians and Lebanon.]

However, it does not seem easy to stop Israel's runaway on the back of President-elect Trump.

Trump, who left the "Iran nuclear deal" while in office and unilaterally supported Israel, is expected to show a similar attitude after taking office.
