In the U.S., Trump and Harris, two elected and failed candidates, showed mixed expressions on the occasion of Veterans Day's national anniversary.

Through additional appointments, Trump has bolstered his efforts to strengthen the border and end the war in Ukraine.

President Biden and Vice President Harris appeared together in public for the first time since the presidential election.

The faces of the two people laying flowers on the Unknown Soldier Tower on Veterans Day are particularly dark.

President Biden made his final national cemetery speech as commander-in-chief.

In the past, he called veterans a loser and a pushover. Trump, who faced headwinds, posted a photo on social media of him saluting the veterans without a separate message on the occasion of Veterans Day.

Two hours after posting this photo, he posted a link to a book purchase site along with a video promoting his 140,000 won photo book.

Following the appointment of Tom Homan as the second government border tsar, Trump appointed Stephen Miller, a former speech officer who designed the "Pledge to Expel 1 Million Immigrants," as deputy White House chief of staff.

The New York Times has named Miller along with Elon Musk as a figure to influence the new Cabinet appointment.

On the other hand, former Secretary of State Pompeo and former UN ambassador Hayley, who insisted on additional support for Ukraine, will not be appointed to the new cabinet, Trump said.

While both the House and Senate are expected to move to the Republican Party following the White House, it has been reported that Congress will extend the temporary budget plan, which ends on the 20th, until March next year, after Trump takes office.

U.S. media have observed that the extension of the temporary budget will help Biden's government avoid shutdowns within his term and allow Trump time to select Cabinet members and draw up a new budget.
