The Social Democratic Party said it would sue and accuse police officials at a rally hosted by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions in downtown Seoul on the 9th, saying representative Han Chang-min suffered a rib fracture due to violent suppression.

He then urged National Police Agency Commissioner Jo Ji-ho to apologize to the public and punish those responsible, saying that the power to use public power to suppress citizens was disastrous.

He also stressed that parliamentary violence should never happen in a democratic republic, and that an unrepentant police command should not tolerate attempts to intimidate the people and block the square.
