Previously, the association had to follow the appointment of a national team coach and "notify" his club, but the board of directors of the Korea Football Association adjusted the operating regulations.

Earlier, in the process of Hong Myung-bo, who was leading Ulsan, taking the helm of the national team, the rule that the club could not oppose the association's decision was highlighted and criticized as anachronistic.

The Korea Football Association has also decided to hold the next presidential election on January 8 next year.

With Chairman Chung Mong-gyu's bid for the fourth term drawing attention, the registration of candidates will take place for three days from the 25th of next month.
