Yesterday (12th) at around 7:40 p.m., a fire broke out in a hill near Magoksa Temple in Sagok-myeon, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do.
No one was injured, and only part of the forest burned, causing no damage to Magoksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Forest authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire after completing the cleanup of the residual fire.
