In China, a man in his 60s drove into the square, killing more than 30 people and injuring more than 40.

Citizens who exercised in the evening suffered great damage, and the man seems to have committed the crime dissatisfied with the outcome of the property division after the divorce.

People are lying here and there on the walkway outside the sports center.

The paramedics were rushed, but there are too many people who need treatment.

A car drove into a square outside a sports center in Zhuhai, southern China's Guangdong province.

More than 70 people were killed or injured when citizens who took a walk or exercise in the evening were hit by cars defenselessly.

It is reported that the damage was severe when a vehicle hit citizens who were running forward from behind.

Police arrested the 62-year-old driver, identified only by his surname Pan, at the scene.Police say Mr. Pan
was taken to a hospital after attempting to injure himself, and that he apparently committed the crime after the divorce, dissatisfied with the outcome of the property division.

In China, there have been a series of "angry crimes" targeting an unspecified number of people.

[China CCTV News: Following critical guidance from President Xi Jinping, the central government has sent a working group to the scene to guide the handling of the incident]

Zhuhai City, where the incident took place, is also where an international air show prepared by China is being held.

Chinese authorities are controlling information by censoring social media to delete photos and videos from the scene of the incident.

Citizens placed flowers at the scene of the incident and paid tribute to the victims.
