Korean Air flights bound for Bali, Indonesia, failed to land due to volcanic ash from a local volcanic eruption and returned one after another.

In Daejeon, there was a power outage, causing inconvenience to residents of apartment complexes with 2,000 households.

This is reporter Jeong Hyeon-woo, the news of last night's incident and accident.

Passengers can be seen everywhere sleeping across several seats, perhaps because the prolonged flight is tiring.

I left Incheon at around 4 p.m. yesterday (12th), but I'm on a flight back from the Philippines without getting to my destination, Bali, Indonesia.

Due to the recent eruption of a volcano in eastern Indonesia, ash has soared, so local landing permits have not been granted.

[Jeong Eul-soo / Korean Air flight to Bali: I was going to go on vacation for the first time in a long time, but didn't you reserve a hotel? All of those hotels have been blown away, because they can't be canceled.]

There are 400 passengers who experienced inconvenience when two Korean Air flights to Bali returned.

Only the emergency stairs are lit, and all the apartment households are dark.

Around 8:20 p.m. last night, 2,000 households in three apartment complexes were in darkness due to an abnormality in the electricity supply facility in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.

[Department resident in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon: I'm raising a baby, but there's a power outage while washing up. I can't even move because the elevator can stop.]

KEPCO resumed electricity supply through other wires, but restoration was delayed for 1,000 generations that needed facility replacement.

A bright red light lit up the hill behind the roof of the hanok.

Around 7:40 p.m. last night, 0.2 hectares of forest were burned by a fire in the hills of Sagok-myeon, Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do.

No one was injured, and Magoksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nearby, was fortunately unharmed.
