Park Sung-taek, the first vice minister of industry at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, said he would continue contacting companies to respond quickly to changes in the trade environment following the results of the U.S. presidential election and ease uncertainty among companies investing in the U.S.
He then said he would strengthen cooperation with the new U.S. government and minimize business uncertainty in our companies by holding multilateral semiconductor meetings.
