[Gyeonggi] "Please lower the toll on the Guri-Pocheon Expressway"...Recommendation to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Gyeonggi-do Province

Gyeonggi Province has proposed to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to reduce tolls on the Guri-Pocheon Private Expressway to guarantee the basic rights of residents in northern Gyeonggi Province who are suffering from overlapping regulations.

The fare from Namgu-ri IC to Sinbuk IC, the longest section of the Guri-Pocheon Expressway, is 3,600 won for passenger cars, which is 1.15 times higher than the toll for road construction.

also requested that 69 projects selected for road environment, traffic flow, and regional development by route be reflected in the 6th national road and national map construction plan by collecting opinions from cities and counties.

The 6th national road and national map construction plan is currently being identified by the Korea Research Institute of Land, Infrastructure and Transport through services and will be finalized at the end of next year after a preliminary feasibility study by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.
