Police launch investigation into 'Slandering of President and his wife' on the bulletin board of the National Power Party

Police have launched an investigation into the recent posting of a number of articles criticizing President Yoon and his wife under the names of Han Dong-hoon and his family on the bulletin board of the People's Power Party.

The cyber investigation team of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said today (13th) that it summoned Oh Sang-jong, the head of the Korea National Defense Corps, who accused the case.

On the 11th, representative Oh filed a complaint with the police against the author named "Han Dong-hoon," who wrote a slanderous article on the party's bulletin board, on charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act and violating the Information and Communication Network Act.

In order to write on the bulletin board of the People's Power Party, real-name authentication is required, but the real-name was once exposed when searching for the author's name due to a recent computer error.

In response, a post of slander written under the names of representative Han and representative Han's family has been spreading on YouTube, and representative Han says it seems to have been written by the same person.
