Amid the rising global popularity of JTBC's "PRODUCT 7" (Project 7), there is a popularity craze through various global OTT platforms.

"PROJECT 7" is an idol audition program that introduces the concept of "assembly and reinforcement" in which viewers become "World Assembly" and select participants by round from the first vote, form a new team, and grow their favorite participants through the process.

In the fifth episode of "PRODUCT 7," which aired on the 8th, 70 successful applicants selected through the first round of the elimination ceremony were announced. Jeon Min-wook, Kenshin Sakurada, Kim Sung-min, Kim Si-hoon, Majing Xiang, Jang Yeo-jun, and Seo Kyung-bae were selected as the first TOP7 selected by the world assemblers, drawing attention.

The 70 successful applicants shed tears as they had a farewell ceremony with the eliminated trainees, who had been in the same class with five slots assembled by World Assemblers.

'PRODUCT 7' gained popularity not only in Korea but also in the world.

It has been ranked No. 1 in the K-pop genre for five consecutive weeks since the first week of its release on the Japanese OTT platform ABEMA, which is being transmitted at the same time as Korea.

"PRODUCT 7" has been ranked in the top 3 in the entertainment category with this week's record on LINE TV in China, and has recorded good performance by maintaining the top 2 and top 3 every week since its release.

Rakuten Viki, a global OTT platform in the Americas and Europe, charted in the top 10 in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania as well as the United States in terms of the number of viewers in the first week of the broadcast. In the third week, it settled within the top 10 based on the number of viewers.

The "number of real-time YouTube views" that can be checked during the actual broadcast showed an upward trend from the third inning when the "position match" began. In the fifth episode, the number of viewers watched increased by 153%.

On the other hand, in the sixth episode of "PRODUCT 7," which will air on the 15th, trainees divided into five slots assembled by World Assemblers will challenge the next project as a team with the rest of the trainees in the same slot and go on a "full-fledged survival."

"PRODUCT 7" airs every Friday at 8:50 p.m.
