The presidential office issued a notice and said President Yoon will hold a South Korea-U.S.-Japan summit with U.S. President Joseph Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on the 15th local time.
The Korea-U.S.-Japan summit is the first in a year and three months since the Camp David meeting in August last year, and Prime Minister Ishiba will attend for the first time.
The presidential office is pushing for a plan to hold a separate Korea-Japan-China summit during the APEC and G20 meetings.
He is also reportedly pushing for a meeting with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on the occasion of his trip.President
Yoon will visit Peru and Brazil respectively from today (14th) to the 21st to attend the APEC and G20 summit.
