An electric car fire in the underground parking lot at dawn...790 generations evacuated

At around 2:10 a.m. today (14th), a Mercedes-Benz electric car that was parked in an underground parking lot of an apartment complex in Mojong-dong, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do caught fire.

No one was injured in the fire, but more than 790 households who heard the announcement from the management office had to evacuate the house urgently in the early morning.

Evacuated residents said they heard thunderous explosions on YTN, but it was found that there was no damage to other vehicles.

After extinguishing the fire in two hours, fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, believing that smoke was simultaneously emitted from the lower part of the electric vehicle with batteries and charging facilities connected to the vehicle.
