The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education said it has been fully restored at 8:20 a.m. after the first report that the Nice connection was not available at around 7 a.m. and is currently operating normally.
Nice is an educational administration information system used by students, parents, and teachers from 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education and more than 12,000 elementary, middle and high schools nationwide for academic and administrative tasks such as grades and life records.
Regarding the College Scholastic Ability Test, if there is an examinee who did not bring his or her ID to the test site, a nice access is required to print out the school record book.
However, the provincial office of education explained that there was no disruption related to the CSAT in the field because Nice had a bypass access system and could be accessed through it.
The provincial education office is investigating the cause of the connection failure.
In this regard, it has been found that there have been no complaints from test takers received at the site so far.
