Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho, referring to the Democratic Party of Korea's outdoor rallies and its push to cut the budget of investigative agencies, criticized Lee for his idea of committing lawless social chaos to prevent his crimes.
Supreme Council member Jang Dong-hyuk said he believes a strict sentence will be sentenced at the trial, saying that the Democratic Party seems to have decided that judges cannot avoid guilt alone, targeting the opposition's "solidarity of impeachment members."
Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the policy committee, also stressed that he does not think the judiciary of the Republic of Korea will be daunted by pressure such as a not guilty plea, and that he expects a ruling not only tomorrow but also in the first trial of the perjury teacher case, which will be held on the 25th.
