This year's first period of CSAT is 10.07%.13% in Chungcheongnam-do and Incheon

In the first period of the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test, the national examination rate was 10.07%.

The Ministry of Education said that out of 518,497 applicants for the Korean language section in the first period of the CSAT, 52,210 did not take the test.

This is 0.53 percentage points lower than last year's 10.6% absenteeism rate in the first period of the CSAT.

By region, the absenteeism rate for test-takers in Chungnam was the highest at 13.24%, and Incheon also exceeded 13%.

Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Ulsan's vacancy rates were in the 7% range, lower than the national average.
