At 4 p.m. today (14th), a press conference was held at Lotte Hotel Sapphire Ballroom in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of ATEEZ's 11th mini album [GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2].
ATEEZ's 11th mini-album [GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2] is the second story of the "GOLDEN HOUR" series following the 10th mini-album [GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1] released in May, capturing the way ATEEZ love themselves.
In addition, the title song "Ice On My Teeth" conveys a message that things that do not go well with each other can coexist in harmony. The song was written by members Hong Joong and Min Gi and captured the team's identity.
At the meeting, the members said, "I gained a lot of experience by participating in the North American tour and various festivals. I wanted to harmonize the existing color with the new feeling, he said. "I worked hard to prepare the album with the support I received from the last mini-first album." I have no regrets. I hope it will be conveyed well through music from the bottom of our hearts," he said.
ATEEZ then cited "unshakable live" and "strong performance" as their strengths and expressed their willingness to prove their value through constant challenges.
First, Jong Ho said, "I was proud to prove that ATEEZ walked the right way while standing on the stage of a large concert hall and a famous festival," while Min Gi replied, "I learned a lot from watching other artists' performances while standing on the stage of an overseas festival."
Hong Joong said, "We recently thought about our own differences when we saw K-pop seniors and juniors perform well overseas," adding, "I think it's ATEEZ's value to constantly challenge and show a different appearance than before." Through new attempts, he expressed his ambition, saying, "I want to be evaluated as 'one is different from before.'"
In addition, the members drew attention by mentioning that they are discussing renewing their contracts along with their goals for album activities.
"I hope we get good results, but all the members do their best every moment without worrying about their grades," Seong-hwa said. "It is our charm to work without regret no matter what the outcome is." Regarding the renewal, Hong Joong said, "All the members and the company are talking a lot," adding, "There is still a lot that ATEEZ wants to show, and I want to be with fans for a long time."
