Cho Tae-yeol to hold bilateral talks with the U.S. and Japan tomorrow... to discuss 'participation in the North Korean military'

Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol will meet with U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken on the occasion of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation and APEC Joint Ministerial Meeting.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Minister Cho will hold a meeting with Minister Blinken in Peru, where a joint ministerial meeting will be held early tomorrow morning.

The talks are expected to discuss ways to respond to the North Korean military's participation in the recent war in Ukraine.

Minister Cho will also meet with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, and is expected to discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula and projects to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan next year.
