Grossi met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi and Iran's Atomic Energy Commissioner Mohammad Eslami yesterday (14th).
Grossi seems to have focused on conveying concerns and warnings about Iran's refusal to raise uranium enrichment levels and inspect nuclear facilities, and seeking diplomatic solutions to ease the nuclear crisis.
In a joint press conference with Commissioner Eslami, Grossi stressed the need to produce concrete and tangible results that can prevent conflict and war.
He also mentioned that Iran's nuclear facilities should not be attacked against Israel.Director
Eslami warned that the IAEA should not pursue a stance of pressuring Iran, and Minister Arakchi also said on social media after the meeting that Iran is ready to negotiate in a way that protects its national interests under the premise that it is not subject to external pressure.
Grossi's visit to Iran is the second this year and about a week after Trump's election as U.S. president.
