It is estimated that Lebanon's losses due to the military conflict between Israel and the pro-Iranian militant group Hezbollah amounted to 12 trillion won in Korean money over the past year.

This is equivalent to about 35% of Lebanon's gross domestic product and GDP last year.

According to a report released by the World Bank on the 14th local time, damage to various facilities in Lebanon from October 8 last year to October 27 this year was about $3.4 billion and about 4.75 trillion won.

In addition, it was analyzed that about $5.1 billion and 7.12 trillion won in losses were incurred economically.

"The conflict will reduce Lebanon's real GDP growth by at least 6.6% this year," the bank said, adding that the bank has activated contingency plans, including reallocating resources to Lebanon to respond to the current crisis.
