"President Yoon's approval rating recovered by 20%...27% of the People's Power, 34% of the Democratic Party" [Gallup]

President Yoon Suk Yeol's approval rating has risen to 20%.

According to Gallup Korea's survey of 1,002 people aged 18 or older nationwide for three days from the 12th, 20% of President Yoon's positive evaluation of job performance and 71% of negative evaluation.

Positive ratings were up 3%p from the previous survey, a week ago, and negative ratings were down 3%.

As the reason for positive evaluation of President Yoon's job performance, 'diplomacy' was the highest at 28%, followed by 'trying hard/doing your best' and 'determination/propulsion/toughness' at 6%, respectively.

As for the reason for the negative evaluation, Kim Gun-hee's problem was the highest at 16%, down 3% from the previous week, followed by "economic/people's livelihood/price" at 13%.

Political party support fell 2%p from a week ago to 27%.

In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea also fell 2%p to 34%, and the gap between the two parties remained at 7%p, the same as the previous week.

The Cho Kuk Innovation Party maintained 7% and the Reform New Party maintained 3%.

When asked about countermeasures against North Korea's nuclear and missile provocations, 69% of the respondents said efforts to find peaceful and diplomatic solutions should continue.

Twenty-five percent said a military solution was needed, while six percent held back.

On the argument that Korea should also possess nuclear weapons, 66% of the respondents agreed, 30% opposed, and 4% withheld their opinions.
