Court dismisses arrest warrant for publisher of 'Yatap Station murder threat'

A man in his 20s who was caught escaped arrest after posting on the Internet that he would go on a deadly rampage at Yatap Station in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The Suwon District Court today (15th) rejected an arrest warrant for Park, who is suspected of threatening.

The court judged that it was difficult to admit the need for arrest considering the circumstances and degree of the crime, the family relationship, and the first criminal, saying that Park reflected on the crime and that evidence was collected.

Mr. A is accused of posting a message on the bulletin board of an anonymous Internet community site in September that he would attack people with a weapon at Yatap Station.

A police investigation revealed that A was an employee of the site, and it was found that he posted to promote the site and increase the number of visitors.
