A completion ceremony was held for 827 students of the "Humanities of Hope" in which the Seoul Metropolitan Government teaches the homeless and low-income people to develop their will to stand on their own feet.

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said at the completion ceremony, "If we can move toward a new goal, it's like we've got a new life," adding that he will help us become self-reliant.

Let's listen to it for ourselves.

[Sehun Oh / Seoul Mayor: Some people are preparing for a certificate and others are preparing to start a business. I think there are also people who have a dream of going to school, but I think they have changed from a life buried in food, clothing, shelter, to a life where they find meaning and set goals every day, so I sat thinking, "I did a great job making this process." If you burn the will to stand on your own feet, the Seoul Metropolitan Government would like to help you make many good examples. Because your success can be delivered as a message of hope to people like you who are going through similar periods of frustration.
