Citing the government's announcement in Aragon, Reuters said the fire started in a room in a nursing home at around 5 a.m. local time yesterday (15th), and smoke spread throughout the building, causing the damage.
In addition to the dead, several people are being treated for inhaling smoke, one of whom is in critical condition, the state said.
A total of 82 people lived in this nursing home.
The fire was extinguished in about two hours, and local fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
