"Art Tech," which guarantees high profits by investing in artworks, including paintings, has recently become popular, leading to a series of side effects.
There are many cases where the CEO disappears after only receiving the investment and suspends the operation, and is suspected of fraud, but another similar incident occurred in Gangnam, Seoul.
Reporter Yang Dong-hoon reports.

It is an art technology company in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, that gives you profits if you invest in art works.
Recently, a notice was posted on the official cafe that the CEO disappeared and will stop operating.
I went to the office myself.
The lights are on, but you can't see anyone moving, and the door is firmly locked.
The investment consultation phone has also failed.
"Current subscriber's phone is off or network disconnected and cannot be connected."
The company attracted investors, saying that investing in paintings guarantees a high monthly profit of 1-2% through exhibitions, advertisements, and sponsorships by commissioning works.
It was a sweet temptation that if you pay 10 million won, you can attract more than 100,000 won every month.
However, in the end, like Gallery K and Jiwoong Art Gallery, which were in question earlier, the representative disappeared, and the office was closed, and investors were only hoping to find the principal.
[Seo Jun-beom / Lawyer: It seems very likely that it is a similar receiving fraud in that it promised a return that could not be common sense if it invested in an artwork whose substance is unclear.]
This company has received various awards, including brand awards and value management awards, and has been put forward as a reliable company.
[Yoon Chul-han / Head of Planning Solidarity Team of Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice: There is no means for consumers to check whether the company deserves the award or whether it is a product that deserves it. There is a lot of room for unintended victims.
Police, which have received complaints from more than 10 investors, are investigating allegations of fraud and similar reception.
