The ruling of the first trial on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act by Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung is 130 pages long.

The court judged by dividing the part where CEO Lee said he "didn't know" about the late Kim Moon-ki, former director of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation's development, and that he had never played golf together with

.

First of all, regarding the "golf" comment, Lee, former director Kim Moon-ki, and Yoo Dong-kyu were the only ones who played golf outside of their official schedule among the 11 people who went on an overseas business trip in January 2015, and considered it a memorable act.

In this judgment, a video taken by the former director Kim himself to his daughter from an overseas business trip or a video of a local meal was used as evidence.

The video submitted by the bereaved family showed Kim telling his daughter, "I played golf with the mayor and the general manager today."

Representative Lee's appearance on the show in the form of an exclusive interview, not a TV debate, was also a criterion for conviction.

unlike debates in which a battle takes place within a limited time between candidates,
The representative
was able to unilaterally express his position to the citizens' panel's questions.

In particular, the court admitted that Lee had known Kim before he was elected mayor of Seongnam while working to improve the public housing remodeling system.

However, the subjective perception of who knew or did not know is not specified in the prohibition of publication, so it is difficult to punish just by saying that "I did not know former Minister Kim."

In addition, Lee's remarks by the National Audit Office that he changed the use of the Baekhyun-dong site due to threats from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport were recognized as false information for the purpose of election.

The court explained that representative Lee seems to have used the parliamentary audit as an opportunity to respond to the suspicion of Daejang-dong, citing that he said in past interviews, "Every parliamentary inspection increases his approval rating."
