Musk Backs Rutnik As Treasurer..."Who will lead the change?"

Tesla Inc TSLA CEO Elon Musk, who serves as the No. 2 pick for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, has publicly endorsed Howard Rutnick, CEO of investment bank "Kentor Fitzgerald," as Treasury Secretary.

In a post on his social media, Musk called Rutnik a person who can lead to real change.

On the other hand, Scott Bessent, the founder of the hedge fund Key Square Group, which is rising to hippopotamus with Rutnick, said it would be a "as-usual choice" and that it was the way to make the U.S. bankrupt.

Musk, who helped Trump win the election with funding and campaigning, is said to have stayed at Trump's mansion Mar-a-Lago after the presidential election and is involved in selecting the next government.
