The British Financial Times reported that North Korea has provided Russia with self-propelled artillery and multiple rocket launchers, some of which have been deployed to Kursk.

The Financial Times, citing Ukrainian intelligence officials, said North Korea had supplied Russia with 50 170 mm self-propelled howitzers and 20 240 mm improved howitzers over the past few weeks.

Ukraine said North Korea wants to test the performance of its weapons in action, and that some will be used on the battlefield in western Kursk.

Earlier, social media X posted a photo of a 170mm self-propelled gun from North Korea transported from what is believed to be central Russia.

North Korea's 240mm improved multiple rocket launcher capable of launching guided missiles was built based on the Soviet Union's BM-27, and Kim Jong-un reportedly observed the test fire in May.
