Foreign investors' share of KOSPI's holdings hit a yearly low.

According to data from the Korea Exchange, the market capitalization of KOSPI stocks held by foreigners as of the 15th was 637.48 trillion won.

It is 32% of the total KOSPI market capitalization, the lowest level this year.

Analysts say that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's national priority is feared to hurt the export-oriented domestic economy, and investor sentiment has been dampened by the "strong dollar" phenomenon, in which the won-dollar exchange rate exceeds the psychological defense line of 1,400 won.
