A fire broke out at a resort warehouse in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, forcing some users to evacuate and injuring one employee.

At a rest area in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, a parked car caught fire, and the Navy family found it and extinguished it, preventing major damage.

The fire broke out at 2:45 p.m. at Gonjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.

"Daddy, what should I do with that?"

The fire was extinguished about an hour after burning temporary structures such as material storage warehouses and ticket offices, but a worker in his 20s suffered burns to his ankles and hands.

Fire authorities believe the fire broke out while removing residual gas left in butane gas, and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.

At around 6 a.m., a car hit a road construction section on a road in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, and the driver was taken to a hospital.

At the Pyeongchang Rest Area on the Yeongdong Expressway, a parked car caught fire around 10:40 a.m.

The family of a Navy noncommissioned officer who witnessed the vehicle fire stopped major damage as they started extinguishing the fire with a fire extinguisher.

[Park Mi-sook / Fire extinguishing family: I was parking for a while when a car caught fire. We had a fire extinguisher in our car. My husband is now spraying it, and my son and daughter are walking around the convenience store and bringing a fire extinguisher....]

In Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, a fire broke out in a shopping mall on the first floor of the building at around 1:20 p.m. and was extinguished in about 20 minutes, but one employee was taken to a hospital after inhaling smoke.
