U.S. President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to attack mainland Russia with U.S. weapons, the New York Times reports.
In the meantime, President Biden has not provided weapons for Ukraine to attack deep into the Russian mainland for fear of escalation, and has imposed restrictions on the use of U.S. weapons for such purposes.
Despite constant requests from Ukraine, North Korea lifted restrictions when it dispatched troops to Russia.

U.S. officials say an ATACMS missile with a range of 300 kilometers is likely to strike North Korean troops in Kursk, western Russia.
He also said, "A-Tax will not change the situation significantly, but the North Korean military is vulnerable and should not send more troops to North Korea."
In the meantime, Russia has justified military cooperation between North Korea and Russia, saying that the West, including the United States, is only taking Ukraine's side, citing the example of the Atax missile.

In the meantime, Russia has launched a massive offensive to occupy even one more piece of land before the second Trump administration intervened in the ceasefire.
In particular, it is conducting a series of large-scale airstrikes on power facilities across Ukraine, making it difficult to supply energy in winter.
