As of 10 a.m. this morning, all cold wave warnings in the inland have been lifted.

However, while most parts of the country, including Seoul, have the coldest weather this fall, the sub-zero cold is expected to continue in many inland areas until tomorrow morning, so caution is needed.

The morning temperature in Seoul dropped to minus 0.7 degrees Celsius for the first time this fall, and the wind chill dropped to nearly minus 5 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that the morning temperature in most parts of the country today fell by 10-15 degrees from yesterday to the lowest temperature this fall, adding that it will be chilly during the day because the temperature is lower than usual.

This cold will continue until tomorrow morning and gradually ease by recovering to normal temperatures during the day.

However, this week, it is expected to feel relatively cold compared to last week as chilly weather at previous years is expected to be maintained.
