Kim Byung-man's ex-wife put forward a witness for assaulting her daughter, but made a statement saying, "Thank you father."

Comedian Kim Byung-man (49) said he suffered financial damage, with more than 600 million won withdrawn in a day when he filed for divorce from his ex-wife A.

"When Kim Byung-man changed the financial certificate of his bank account on July 30, 2019, A, who was in the process of divorce, forged an account transfer request and transferred a total of 674.2 million won from Kim Byung-man's bank account," Kim Byung-man's side claimed through Dispatch today (18th).

According to the report, his ex-wife, A, who managed Kim Byung-man's seal, bankbook, public certificate, and OTP card, made the cash transfer like this when Kim Byung-man notified, "I will manage my account." She searched for cash machines and drew nearly 100 million won, 3 million won at a time. As a result of checking the

income certificate (2011-2020), Kim Byung-man has earned 12.56 billion won over the past 10 years. Of those, 4.49 billion won was paid in taxes. However, the couple's total net assets (including real estate appraisal value + insurance expected cancellation refund) revealed during the divorce process was KRW 4.96 billion, which was found to have spent more than KRW 3 billion over the past decade.

In August 2020, the following year, Kim Byung-man filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife A for divorce, property division, and damages, and the court ruled that "the division of Kim Byung-man and his ex-wife's property was confirmed at 75% and 25%, and A should return nearly 1 billion won to Kim Byung-man."

Earlier, Kim Byung-man's ex-wife A said through a media outlet that she had been habitually subjected to domestic violence from Kim Byung-man during her marriage and was sent to the prosecution after filing a criminal complaint.

In response, Kim Byung-man's side countered that his ex-wife A claimed Kim Byung-man's habitual domestic violence in the divorce lawsuit, but it was not accepted, and that the police sent him to the prosecution with an opinion of non-prosecution on the alleged assault.

Meanwhile, A is married to Kim Byung-man for the third time and has a daughter with her ex-husband. At the time of the marriage registration, Kim Byung-man adopted his daughter as his biological adopted son and put her on the family register.

Mr. A put forward his daughter as a witness if she witnessed the assault four times, but his daughter's confirmation to the family court said, "He (Kim Byung-man) really did his best to me. You raised me this well and gave me great love and grace for a long time. Kim Byung-man's father is a very grateful person."

Lim Sa-ra, a lawyer for Kim Byung-man, said, "A proposed a mediation plan to write a consent form for the dismissal on the condition that Kim Byung-man does not receive the division of his property. "The demand was to give up about 1.8 billion won (1 billion won in property division + 670 million won in unauthorized withdrawal + 200 million won in real estate) based on the first trial decision," he said. Kim Byung-man's side rejected it.

Prosecutors are currently awaiting disposition regarding Kim Byung-man's alleged assault. It also announced that it will take legal procedures for the dismissal of the daughter of his ex-wife A.

In addition, Kim Byung-man is secretly filing lawsuits against three insurance companies for insurance cancellation payments, collection payments, and name changes.
