The voice claiming that Myung Tae-kyun, a key figure in the alleged intervention of the nomination, persuaded the candidate at the time of the Yoon Suk Yeol to prevent Yoon Han-hong, a member of the People's Power, from running for governor of Gyeongsangnam-do Province was released ahead of the last presidential election.

also claimed that when candidate Yoon went to his private residence in Seocho-dong, Seoul, he met with Kim Gun-hee, and that he also blocked lawmaker Yoon Han-hong's appointment of presidential chief of staff through Kim.

In August 2021, Governor Park Wan-soo of South Gyeongsang Province took him to candidate Yoon's house and introduced him, claiming that Governor Park's dream was to become a governor and that the possibility was "zero" at the time, but he did it for him.

The Democratic Party pointed out that it was referring to the case where Myung was at odds with the so-called "Yoon nuclear officer" force at the time, and that it is completely different from President Yoon's explanation that he cut ties with Myung during the presidential election.
